Veränderung der Phoenix-Lectures

Im Sommer 2002 veröffentlicht die Kirche erstmals und mit großem Tamtam ("soo modern sind wir schon") Vorträge auf CD, so ca. ein Jahrzehnt nach Einführung der CD in der Wog-Welt.

Darunter wiederum die Phönix-Vorträge, die ursprünglich seit den 60er Jahren als kostengünstiges Buch herauskamen, aber als dieses in den 80ern vergriffen war, wurde es nicht neu aufgelegt, sondern durch die wesentlich teurere Kasettenversion ersetzt.

Ich liste einmal im Folgenden die vier Versionen auf und kommentiere dann anschließend die Unterschiede. Denn jede der Herausgaben umfasste andere Vorträge, die ursprünglich auf dem 7. ACC gehalten wurden:

Der 7. ACC

7th American Advanced Clinical Course. Per old tech vol 2 page 65, "The 7th ACC convened in Phoenix, Arizona on June 21, 1954. This was the last, and perhapse the most memorable, in a series of seven ACCs taught by L. Ron Hubbard, one after another, with no pause between them. Tapes from this ACC, together with some from the 6th ACC, were used for the 1st London Advance Clinical Course (Mr. Hubbard was not present for the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd London ACCs) held sept 6 to Oct 15, 1954.". Unlike most ACC lectures, these are usually only 1/2 hour long. (Gemäß dem Buch "What is Scientology?" 1992.)

Published by the Publications Organization, Worldwide, Saint Hill Manor, East Grinstead, Sussex, England, August 1968.

Die Vorträge des Professionellen Kurses wurden dann abgeschrieben und als Buch herausgegeben. Immer wieder nachgedruckt bis einschließlich 1982, seit Mitte der 80er vergriffen und wird nicht mehr nachgedruckt.

Die Fettgedruckten Titel sind auch im Buch der Ausgabe von 1968 bis 1975 enthalten. Ich gehe einmal davon aus, dass LRH in den 50ern und 60ern die Auswahl seiner Vorträge abgezeichnet hat, die als PRO-Serie bzw. im Phoenix-Buch zu veröffentlichen seien. Ich frage mich, wer heute sich das Recht herausnimmt, diese Auswahl zu revidieren und damit solch wichtige Vorträge wie die oben aufgeführten jetzt den Scientologen vorenthält.
